Thrill seeking people hang out in crazy places. Although we should admit that scenery is astonishing, even looking at these pictures of highliners relaxing in hammocks hanging over Italian Alps is making some people sick in stomach.
This actually is a festival. International Highline Meeting is held up in the Italian Alps in the region Dolomites, offering stunning 360 degrees view out across the mountains and over the Lake of Misurina.
Everyone seems to be so happy and calm despite the breathtaking scenery and dizzying heights. If you’re scared of heights, this sleep over might not be so much fun for you. Especially knowing that ropes aren’t that tight but more slack ropes, the wobbly feeling of hammocks must be accompanying festival goers nonstop. However, all participants of the festival are described as experienced tightropers.
The festivals’ program is explained as enjoying highlining as well as other activities such as movies, bar, kitchen, music and yoga – if it makes it any more interesting. Now, it may be just time to sit back & relax while looking at the photos from 2015 festival imagining the adrenaline rush there.
